first and only time that I will go there! I took 2 pairs of uniform pants to be cleaned on Monday, July 11th. I was told that they would be ready after 4pm on Wednesday. I needed them for work on Thursday and was going out of town for 3 days. I was left a message on Wed at about 1pm and told that their machine had broken and my pants would not be ready until Friday. I called and said that this was unacceptable. The woman said that they could clean them and to pick them up that afternoon. I picked them up at about 6 (closing time) , had to come up with exact change ($12.58) as they had closed out the register. When I put them on the next day, it was apparent that the pants had only been pressed, they were still very dirty. Firstly, I don't think they should wait until the last minute to clean something . Secondly, let me know they didn't get clean, I could have gone to the grocery store and at least picked up a home dry cleaning kit. Lastly, I should never have been charged!!

Lost a shirt that needed additional attention. Five courteous visits from Oak Island to retrieve item. That last two visits resulted in promises that I would be called back at the end of the day. Never happened. They seem to be fixated on the fact that I can't describe the missing shirt. I take a bundle at a time and pay little attention to what is dropped off. Now, it is more about having someone from the shop admit that it was lost and we apologize. Poor business relations.
