This store is awesome!! So many extras you don't normally find in your average grocery store! It's fun just to walk around and look!
Well they did have a good variety I found their produce to be terrible. I had purchased asparagus and went to cook it the next day and they were already getting slimy. I also bought eggplant which was mushy they were not firm. The broccoli was limp. I cannot believe the prices they charge the produce was not fresh at all. The deli department was nice the store was clean but you should be able to buy decent fruits and vegetables at a store like that. Completely unacceptable.
Next door to Peebles Department Store and San Felipe Mexican Restaurant so it's a great location to stop and walk, eat, shop. As for the Lowes Foods, this store is filled with loads of fresh baked goods and meats, a fair wine selection, and super friendly staff.
Best thing about Lowe's is if no one else has it, you can usually find it at Lowe's. Plus the quality of produce is always excellent and the deli carries Boars Head products. Love it.
Clean well lite store with ample parking, often wait in checkout line. Produce people not knowledgeable, bakery, deli, seafood and meat dept. Good. Prices generally higher then competitors.
