Since moving to Southport, this branch of BB & T is the best Branch I have ever been to. Had a lot to do and have had lots of questions on many occasions. The have always treated me with respect and patience both clerks and customer service. Thank you
The women at the counter are super nice expect one older woman who stands closer to the door on Howe st and runs the window sometimes. She is a little rude and while your talking to her about your account, if someone she knows walks in, she cuts you off and starts a conversation with that person. But the real problem is with the client relationships woman. Our account wasn't suppose to overdraft and an unathorized transaction was made. When our money was refunded she wouldn't refund the overdraft fee of $36.00, she said and I qoute "the person who took out the money has to pay you for the overdraft fee, BB&T cannot refund it because it wasn't BB&Ts fault you overdrafted". First off, we opted out of overdrafting, we were never suppose to overdraft. My husband knew she was lieing and ended the conversation after she kept lieing to us about BB&T can't refund the over draft fee and polices. NOTE: we have both banked with BB&T for well over a decade, we know what BB&T can and cannot do.. My husband called BB&T customer service in the parking lot, talked with an awesome rep who told us and I qoute " of course BB&T can refund your overdraft fee its our fee, once the money is refunded back into your account we will refund you the overdraft fee.". It took less than 10 minutes.. It's extremely irritating when you go into the bank to talk to someone face-to-face and they are not willing to help you and they lie right to your face. If you ever have a problem don't talk with the client relationships woman at this bank she will not help you, she is a complete idiot and a lier.. Just call the customer service 1-800 number they are willing to help you and they are so nice. Or go to the BB&T next to Hardees, super awesome people in that bank, the customer relationships woman in that bank even said she could have refunded us the fee. I hate liers
