A gem in Southport! If you are local or just visiting, stop in. Very friendly owners and the art is very unique and wonderful! You can find something at just about any price range too. I have purchased great gifts from Art Shak. Can't wait to go back!
We love this place! We drive out of our way to go here---every year on the way back home from our beach vacation. We always find something to puchase---either as gifts for others or gifts for ourselves. They always have unique items from paintings and sculptures to pottery and lamps. All price ranges for work by substantially talented artists. And the couple that run this place are friendly, kind, amazing people. They actually remember my elementry-aged daughter from year to year and spend time with her to encourage her drawing skills. Also, the husband does fabulous and impressive metal work. You won't be disappointed if you stop in for a look!
Eclectic shop. Some good stuff, some kitsch. Fun to look at. Nice, but small, sculpture garden. Nothing breathtaking, but worth a visit.
